The Rapture has been a significant doctrine in some circles of evangelical Christianity for years. The publication of Hal Lindsey's book The Late Great Planet Earth brought the ideas of the imminent return of Jesus Christ at the height of the decline of civilization brought the language of Rapture and the ends times square into the mainstream of popular culture. Some have recently stressed that signs upon us such as global warming, natural disasters, wars, and the conflicts in the Middle East have been warning us of the event and the world has callously ignored them in the comforts of the belly of the Beast of Babylon.
Dr. Jack Van Impe, long time prophecy analyst, may begin searching for another vocation since all of his predictions may have been right, but unfortunately he was not included in the Rapture. So reports like this,
The London Daily Telegraph reports: “A giant particle accelerator that mimicks the effects of the ‘Big Bang’ could destroy all life on Earth by sucking it into a black hole, a lawsuit claims.
Walter Wagner, who runs a botanical garden on Hawaii's Big Island, and Luis Sancho, a Spaniard, have asked for an injunction to prevent the European Centre for Nuclear Research, or Cern, starting up the Large Hadron Collider.
may now be sadly meaningless. As Dr. Van Impe told the mind of Notes From Off-Center, "Rexella and I prayed so hard for this day to be revealed to the true elect of God Almighty. We were sure to be welcomed into the fold. Now we are gainfully unemployed. We will, however, still leave our website up as a testimony to the Glory of God Almighty. At least Chuck Ohman will have a job. His voice is a gift. Actually I have not seen Chuck for a few days…"
Harold Camping, General Manager of Family Radio, was also quite shocked. "Looking at the numerology of the infallible Bible I was sure that the rapture would occur on October 21, 2011. As it turns out, we at Family Radio made an addition error by not including the seventh day of creation in which God rested. We counted that as a zero. We apologize if we have let anyone astray with this unfortunate error," as he told the mind of Notes from Off-Center.
Brother Camping has previously noted that God is no longer in the church and that the true worship of God happens outside of the church which is a sign that the Rapture is both imminent and soon. Through what was previously considered masterful and meticulous study of Scripture, Camping had made the following prediction here:
Whereas the eighth day (the 22nd day of the seventh month), is October 20, in actuality, it is to be observed as they did in II Chronicles 7:10, on the 23rd day of the seventh month, which is October 21, 2011. Thus, we must realize that October 21, 2011 will be the final day of this earth’s existence.
How could this have occurred and so many gifted in the interpretation of biblical prophecy missed it? The reasons are unsure. However, what seems to have been the case is that the Rapture has been happening for years now. Statistical evidence of the continual decline in mainline denomination church attendance has been targeted for investigation. Where have all of these faithful gone? Some are now arguing that they are the ones who have been "taken up" (Numbers 9:21-23, Acts 1:1-3) into the clouds (Mark 13:24-26).
This has echoed in the chambers of American politics as well. Tom DeLay was rather shocked in light of recent events worldwide that seemed to support his belief in what exactly would occur at the end of the world.
WASHINGTON, DC–When House Majority Leader Tom DeLay delivered a moving speech from the halls of Congress last week, in which he argued that his political enemies are persecuting him because of his religious faith, there was just one problem: he wasn't supposed to be there. Earlier this month, say observers, the 'Rapture,' the much-anticipated event in which God summons his faithful to the heavens, finally happened.
It has been reported that a worldwide search will soon commence under the leadership of John Hagee Ministries to locate the records of those mainline church members who have been disappearing from their local congregations over the past 30 years. As sociologist Robert Wuthnow reported on Beliefnet, "Mainline membership is down (by nearly 6 million members) since 1965." Investigations will attempt to track down these lost members to confirm that they have indeed been Raptured. If this proves correct, Christians argue that it will confirm pre-tribulation speculations about the End Times. If so, believers expect Jesus to return with in excess of six million mainline church members sometime in the future to reconcile and redeem the world once and for all. Work will now commence as to exactly when, but if previous predictions hold up, that date will be April 1, 3008.

Will i’ve been listening to Family Radio in South Africa for the past 4 and a 1/2 years, and checked all Scriptures and can’t find anything to the contrary…!
21 May 2011 to 21 October 2011 is indeed the last days of this universe.
May God havc mercy on each one of us!
(Rom 16:25) Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,
(Rom 16:26) But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith:
(Rom 16:27) To God only wise, be glory through Jesus Christ for ever. Amen.
