Palin Greeted on the Ice by Flyers Fans

Gov. Palin should know that Philly is the biggest reason why PA has been such a “blue” state. She should also know that Philly is a rabid sports town. She should also know that her hockey credibility means nothing to the town of the Broad Street Bullies. She should also know how Philly fans get before a Rangers game.

She may have misunderstood that “city of brotherly love” is just a slogan like her “maverick” stuff. Philly fans do not respect outsiders. She should have been wearing a Flyers jersey - seriously - Rick Tocchet would have been a decent choice. They would have loved her at least for that. This is about the worst arena to make an appearance in all of the NHL if you are non-partisan to the home team. They boo her onto the ice like only Philly fans can.

Gov. Palin. Please don’t go to a New Jersey Devils game unless you are sporting a Martin Brodeur Jersey or maybe Danyko or Stevens to really impress fans. I am just giving you this advice to avoid even more vociferous rejection. Every fan in that division will now see it as a competition to boo more loudly than the Flyers fans.

Bad judgment. Wrong for America.
