		<description>I&#039;ve never understood this proposal at all.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;What is preventing tall-steeple church pastors from participating in the governance or &quot;establishment&quot; of the PCUSA now?  Nothing so far as I can see.  Most of the committees in our Presbytery, for example, have vacancies.  I can&#039;t extrapolate that to the rest of the church, but it isn&#039;t like there ever seems to be an over abundance of people volunteering to do anything in the denomination.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;If these are the folks who are best suited to lead, then I wonder why they haven&#039;t done it.  Why does the denomination need to send them engraved invitations?</description>
