I found this to be a funny example of the contradictions of the right. Michelle Malkin is a vociferous supporter of all things Republican, is always postured on the moral high ground, and who is proud of her consistent disruption of all those immoral liberals who want to destroy America's moral center, apparently supports hooking up for the fun of it too. She is the founder of Hot Air and this was what I found this morning. Check this out (click to expand) and look at the ad image on the right.
E-Harmony the site in the ad is not. It's likely not the kind of "hot air" that Malkin would fancy being seen giving out. Can you see her at a booth for this company at something like the Adult Video News Awards?
However, advertising tells you a lot about the character of the media that you are consuming. Even in the world of Google ads, the content changes with the content of the pages on which the ads display. Also, you can manually select or deselect which ads you want and exclude those with "adult" content if you want. So this puts Malkin's character on display. What a well-spring of hypocrisy the media is and the right has absolutely no moral high ground on which to stand above the left. The lack of integrity should disgust people and this is only one small drop in the bucket to be sure.
The lesson we can learn from this apparent contradiction is that gay marriage looks like the next step to Armageddon and the rule of Satan, but hooking up with singles for a "booty call", especially if you are a hot and bothered married dude, is all well and good. This iss is what sells to the readership of Hot Air. Awesome. It also makes Malkin's first sentence in her "Note from the Founder" more humorous. "Welcome to the world’s first full-service conservative Internet broadcast network!" So much for "fixed ideological principles" Michelle. It's quite clear that you have none either.
